Funeral Services

A ceremony that takes place when the family wish to have a send off for their loved one. Funeral services start from $6555.00 (excludes service booklets and newspaper).

This process starts by us collecting your loved once and bringing them into our care here at Townsville Funerals, Cremations and Crematorium. Once your loved one is dressed ready for for their funeral service, they’re placed into a coffin or one of our Gentle Way exclusive caskets (whichever you have chosen). Our staff will piece together a range of things to make the funeral service memorable, including photo tributes, service booklets, newspaper articles, music, flowers and more (we will try to accommodate to any request you have). On the day of the service your loved one will be placed into our chapel, the chapel of your choosing if you wish to use a different location or on the lowering device at the cemetery (or you may wish to pallbearer our loved one into the chapel or to the grave), everything will be ready to go before yourself and guests arrive. Once the service has concluded whichever end of life procedure you have chosen will be carried out, whether that be a burial, cremation or the Gentle Way process.

Your loved ones ashes or remains (if any) are returned to you in an interment urn or the urn of your choosing (at the additional cost of the chosen urn).
