Memorial Services

A ceremony that takes place to honour a life.

This process starts by bringing your loved one into our care to Townsville Funerals, Cremations and Crematorium. Your loved one is then cremated (by fire) or processed through The Gentle Way (by water), Once your loved one’s ashes are ready for for their memorial service, they’re placed into a wooden urn cover or an urn of your choosing (at the additional cost of the chosen urn).

Our dedicated staff will piece together a range of options to make the funeral service memorable, including photo tributes, service booklets, newspaper articles, music, flowers and more (we will try to accommodate to any request you have). On the day of the service your loved one’s ashes will be placed into our chapel, or the chapel of your choosing if you wish to use a different location, everything will be set up and awaiting yourself and guests arrive. Once the service has concluded your loved one’s ashes or remains are returned to you in the interment urn or the urn of your choosing (If one was used at the memorial service).
