Meet Our Team
Lori Boyle
I was born in Victoria many years ago and have the best husband a girl could ask for, four children and 6 amazing grandchildren.
After working for Human Services in Victoria for many years, I took a step back from the stress and worked in retail, until I met my now husband Nev and not only married him, but also his business, so I’ve been working in the funeral industry now for more than two decades (yes, I’m old!)
We started Townsville Funerals and Cremations…… 10 years ago and now have the pleasure of going to work each day with our wonderful work family helping other families in the best way we can, by treating their loved one as if they were also one of ours.
This is a job I fell into, never thought I could do, but honestly, it’s the best job in the world as it’s more a vocation than an occupation.

I’ve been in the funeral industry for a long time now, first starting up a Funeral Transfer business in Victoria and when I met and married my lovely wife Lori, we moved to Queensland and purchased Burdekin Funerals in Ayr and then subsequently set up Townsville Funerals & Cremations.
My wife accuses me of being a workaholic, but when I do get some time out of the office, I enjoy watching AFL, fishing, landscaping my backyard at home and travelling.
Family to me is so important and I like to think I bring that attitude to work with me when caring for other families loved ones and strive to make our company a place everyone feels comfortable.

I have lived in Townsville for almost 19 years, a proud Mum of one and have worked at Townsville Cremations and Funerals for the last 3 years. In my role as Office Manager, I'm often the first point of contact for our families. Supporting and comforting grieving relatives in their time of need is an honor for me.

I am a dedicated mortician whose passion for bringing comfort to grieving families extends beyond the somber setting. When not providing solace in the funeral industry, I find joy in the worlds of gaming and fishing, finding balance in the serenity of nature and the excitement of virtual realms.
